Your Monenti Partners company news update

Written: 01 Jul 2026

Welcome to your February update from Monenti Partners. Each month, we share some highlights of what’s been happening in and around the business.

This month, the firm and all Monenti advisers received the highest possible recognition from VouchedFor, a new arrival means Harry has been a little busier than usual, and find out how Alistair got on in Oman with the strenuous Ironman challenge.

Monenti Partners is recognised as a VouchedFor Top Rated Firm and all our advisers have also won accolades

In case you’re not familiar, VouchedFor is a review platform for financial advisers and planners that allows clients to leave honest feedback. All reviews are verified, and negative comments are never edited. As a result, those seeking financial advice know they can rely on the details.

Although we only recently started to actively seek VouchedFor reviews, we’ve already gained an overall rating of 4.9 out 5 and we’re delighted to feature in VouchedFor’s 2026 Top Rated Guide. Due to be distributed in the Times and the Telegraph in March, the guide celebrates the best financial advice firms in the UK.

Not only have all five of our Financial Planners – Alistair, Tom, Harry, Aaron, and Lelan – been named as Top Rated Advisers, but Monenti Partners is also recognised as a Top Rated Financial Adviser Firm for 2026.

Achieving Top Rated Firm status is an incredible achievement, reflecting the expertise, dedication, and commitment of every single member of the Monenti team.

Since VouchedFor ratings are based entirely on client reviews, we couldn’t have achieved this without your continued support. Click here to read our reviews and see what clients have said about working with us.

If you haven’t left us a review yet, please click on your Financial Planner’s name below and follow the simple steps to do so. Your support could help us make the VouchedFor Top Rated guide again next time.

Thank you so much, your trust and feedback mean everything to us.

Alistair enjoyed perfect race conditions in the Muscat Middle East Championship

Earlier this month (on Valentine’s Day), Alistair took part in the Ironman 70.3 Muscat Middle East Championship in Oman.

This brutal test of strength and resilience involved a 1.9-mile swim in the Gulf of Oman, a 56-mile bike ride along stunning coastlines, and a half marathon through the heart of Muscat.

Here’s Alistair’s post-race update…

Pre-race adrenaline got me out of bed at 4.10 am

Having taken part in these races many times, planning is one of the most important factors.

On race morning I felt confident – it’s usually other people’s nerves that rub off on me! Any nerves that are there fall away when it starts.

The race started at 6.30 am by the Opera House in Muscat with a sea swim in the Indian Ocean as the sun rose.

It was a perfect blue-sky day and offered almost ideal race conditions.

The heat started to play its part towards the end, but I was happy that the water was 24 degrees – much nicer than swimming in the UK!

I was racing against roughly 900 other participants

As it was the Middle Eastern championship, the best athletes from the region attended.

Out of 900, I came in at 101, and my total time was 4 hours, 39 minutes.

Cycling through historic Muscat was a highlight. The bike course was incredible. The scenery in Oman is breathtaking, and they closed the main highways for the race.

The following day was a rest day, but we had a full itinerary planned

I didn’t want my event to impact the family holiday, so we spent the next day sightseeing.

We started at the Grand Mosque in Muscat, which has the largest hand-woven Persian carpet in the world, a capacity for 20,000 worshippers, and an eight-tonne chandelier.

We then went to the Mall of Oman, which has an indoor snow centre with rides and a whole variety of wintry fun.

The final stop was in Al Bustan – home to the Sultanate’s private residences and official buildings.

After all of that, we returned to the hotel and spent the afternoon in the swimming pool with our daughter.

I would definitely come back and race in Oman

The people are friendly, the event was well organised, and the course was breathtaking.

Harry and his wife welcome baby Thelma into the world

The new year celebrations were quickly overshadowed with the arrival of baby Thelma in Harry’s household.

Born on Thursday 8 January 2026, Harry and his wife chose the name Thelma to reflect their suspicions that their daughter would grow up to be as strong-willed as her mother.

For further background, the name Thelma is thought to be derived from the Greek word thelema, meaning “will”, “desire”, or “volition”.

Already six-and-a-half weeks old and fighting fit, Harry couldn’t be prouder of his baby daughter.
