Monenti news update: A flurry of brilliant exam passes and meet Fiona Dias
Written: 01 Jul 2026
Welcome to your latest update from Monenti Partners.
This month, three brilliant team members have passed several important professional qualifications, and we introduce Fiona Dias – our Operations Manager who keeps us in check while nurturing client and partner relationships.
Lelan Spence has passed a trio of important qualifications

We’re thrilled to share that, having undertaken a number of professional exams in pursuit of his Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning over the past few months, Lelan has passed the following three Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications:
- AF1 – Testing his understanding of personal tax and trust planning, the exam scrutinised his technical knowledge, analytical skills, and his ability to apply them to practical situations.
- AF4 – Assessing his financial planning skills relating to investments and the management of investment portfolios, this qualification enabled him to evaluate the complex needs of clients and recommend appropriate solutions based upon detailed understanding and analysis of all aspects of investment advice.
- J02 – Focusing on developing his knowledge and understanding of the various types of trusts, this qualification covered the crucial legal and taxation considerations that are involved when creating and managing a trust.
Alongside his usual client work, Lelan has been studying hard for many weeks. And we’re delighted that all his hard work is paying off.
Study partners Sarah Wiltshire and Rob Scarrott have each scored a pass in the same exam

While Lelan is working towards gaining his Advanced Diploma, Sarah and Rob – our two Client Executives who support our advisers, ensuring a smooth client experience – are both studying for the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
This month, Sarah and Rob both passed the R03 exam, which tested their understanding of the UK tax system, the self-assessment system, how tax is calculated, and the various taxes that individual clients and trusts may be liable for.
With a total of six core units to complete before they gain their diplomas, Rob and Sarah are both delighted to have another exam in the bag and keen to progress to the next round.
Well done to you both on passing with flying colours – we’ll be here to cheer you on and test your knowledge while you’re studying for the next exam on the list.
