Monenti news update: A coveted mention in the national press, meet Richard Flowers, and another charitable donation

Written: 15 Jul 2026

Senior businessman at his office reading a newspaper.

Welcome to your July update from Monenti Partners. Each month, we share some highlights of what’s been happening in and around the business.

This month, discover how your reviews and feedback helped us secure a coveted mention in the Telegraph, meet client associate Richard Flowers, and see how you’ve helped us make another charitable donation to The Felix Project.

But first, we’d like to say a big congratulations to Stephanie Easton – our senior people and culture adviser – who earned her MSc in Executive Coaching last month. Well done, Steph – we’re delighted your commitment and hard work have paid off.

Your reviews helped us get a mention in the Telegraph

You may recall reading about our 2026 VouchedFor success earlier in the year.

We quickly gained great traction when we began seeking VouchedFor reviews and, at the beginning of the year, all five of our financial planners – Alistair, Tom, Harry, Aaron, and Lelan – were named 2026 Top Rated Advisers. Plus, Monenti Partners was also named a Top Rated Financial Adviser Firm.

After the press coverage in the Times earlier this year, in June we also featured in the Telegraph.

Thank you to everyone who has left a review and helped us be named among the top financial advice firms. We now have almost 100 reviews, giving us a score of 4.9 out of 5.

As one of just 165 Top Rated firms, we hope that reading the reviews of real clients will encourage potential clients to reach out to us.

If you haven’t left a review yet, please click on your financial planner’s name below and follow the simple steps to do so. Your support could help us make the VouchedFor Top Rated guide again next time.

Thank you so much – your continued trust means everything to us.

Meet Richard Flowers – client associate (paraplanner)

Having started his career in education, Richard’s strong communication skills, attention to detail, and people-focused approach makes him a valuable member of the team supporting the varied client work that happens in the background.

Richard took a few minutes out of his day to share news about the work he does and why a simple budget could make all the difference when it comes to your finances.

Can you tell us more about you, your role, and what you do?

My name is Richard Flowers. I’m a happily married 38-year-old with two beautiful girls and a small cat named Claude.

I’ve worked at Monenti Partners since April 2026 as a client associate (paraplanner). I provide research, technical knowledge, report writing, and another layer of sense checking for advisers.

At the weekend, if time allows, I enjoy a nice long, hilly cycle.

What are your specialities?

I’m particularly interested in Inheritance Tax planning and estate planning. However, my experience in humanist psychotherapy and teaching will aid me in the future with client-facing work.

What is your favourite part of your role?

I like the emphasis on tasks and teamwork – working collaboratively on cases.

I can’t wait to start being more involved in client meetings and seeing firsthand how experienced professionals work.

What do you love most about being on the team at Monenti Partners?

The ethos of the company.

I’ve found the company very open to personal development and very inclusive. I also love the energy, and the directors’ passion for the project and growth (not at the expense of the culture) bleeds into every facet of what we do.

Tax is tax, and legislation is legislation. There are many companies that operate in this sphere – but only one like Monenti!

I especially like the emphasis on sharing knowledge – it makes everyone approachable and all tasks achievable.

What is the most valuable piece of financial advice anyone ever gave you?

You cannot change what you don’t track. Make a simple budget and stick to it. Re-evaluate at set points in time and understand what’s working and what isn’t.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to work in the financial services profession?

Do your due diligence on the companies you interview for. Ensure that they have a pathway for the career trajectory you are aiming for with a track record of facilitating employees’ career progression through it!

Love the learning and lean into all those details.

What three small things always make your day better?

A good night’s sleep, being active outdoors, regular contact with loved ones.

3 quickfire questions

Favourite food? At the time of writing, I’m 67 hours into a fast, so anything! Very partial to a French-style pastry with a coffee.

Top of your bucket list? More travel – There are so many cities in Europe that I’ve yet to visit. I’d also like to take my bike to the Alps for some cycling one day.

What are you watching right now? Tour de France and World Cup highlights. I secretly like watching Bluey with my youngest daughter too!

Thanks to you, we’ve donated a further £450 to The Felix Project

Thanks to your generosity in recommending us to your family, friends, and colleagues, we recently donated £450 to The Felix Project, which will enable the London-based charity to deliver good, nutritious meals to 1,575 people in need.

In case you missed it, we donate £50 every time we receive a referral that leads to an initial meeting. There’s no cost for the meeting, and no obligation for the referred individual to become a client.

So, if you know someone who could benefit from financial advice, please don’t hesitate to mention us. Together we can help The Felix Project continue its invaluable work.

On receiving our latest donation, the team at The Felix Project said: “Thank you for sending through another fab donation in aid of The Felix Project […] Huge thanks to you for the support of our work in this way as we now support the Nation who are struggling with food insecurity and poverty.”
